Introducing a puppy into a home isn't always as straight forward as it seems; but signing up to my Puppy Skills package means you will be forearmed with a training plan in place to address any issues that may occur once your new arrival has settled in. It is so important to lay down solid foundations from which you can build as your puppy grows into an adult.
In the two appointments we will cover;
. How dogs learn - learn how to motivate your puppy to learn
. Building the essential bond - how to get 'that' connection
. Equipment - keep your puppy safe and comfortable
. Socialisation - one of the most important skills to learn
. Basic training - impulse control, recall, focus etc
. Toilet training - one of the most frustrating aspects of owning a puppy
. Biting - one of the most painful aspects of owning a puppy
. Appropriate play - where do puppies get their energy from?.
. The integration of other pets and humans - how to do it safely
. Exercise - both physical and mental
. Diet - it is a confusing battle of the brands out there
. Sleep - again, where do puppies get their energy from?
. Health checks & grooming - how to make it fun
. Dog law - how to keep your puppy safe and on the right side of the law

The plan costs £70 (a £20 non-returnable deposit is required when you book your plan); this includes a home visit BEFORE (if possible) your new arrival joins the family, where all of the above is covered, with a detailed follow up email. I am available for email chats if you have any further questions or concerns; then, once the puppy has settled in, I visit you all in your home again where we put together a training plan for your pup.
